Abstract: |
An Archaeological Watching Brief was carried out on the 26th of June 2019 by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) on behalf of Jag's Childcare on land at Sandhills Avenue, North Hamilton, Leicester LE5 1LU (SK 62994 07309). The fieldwork was undertaken to observe groundworks associated with the erection of an extension to an existing modular nursery school. The archaeological work observed the excavation of 25 post pad pits which will support the new extension. No archaeological features or deposits were present in any of the pits. |
