Abstract:		 A watching brief was maintained during trenching work for the construction of a new garage. The development area falls within the area of a known Anglo-Saxon cemetery, which is a Scheduled Monument (Guilton Anglo-Saxon cemetery, Monument No. 1005141; Kent HER ref. TR25 NE6). Careful observation of all the excavated trenches revealed no finds or features of archaeological interest.
