Abstract:		 Headland Archaeology undertook a trial trench evaluation at Brandon Stadium, Coventry, Warwickshire, in order to inform a planning application relating to the residential development of the site. Evidence for land drainage was extensive across the site, and a deep area of made ground was found to the north, along with modern features containing rubble to the south. A single linear feature of possible archaeological origin was identified in two trenches. Otherwise, no deposits, finds or features of archaeological significance were identified during the course of the evaluation.
