Abstract:		 The evaluation confirmed the presence of furrows, the remnants of medieval ridge and furrow ploughing, as identified by the geophysical survey. The evaluation also identified a post-medieval ditch shown on the Second Edition OS Map 1902 in Trench 30, an undated ditch in Trench 8 and an undated pit in Trench 26. Eight trenches contained no archaeological features or deposits. The evaluation demonstrated that the site has been used as farmland since at least the medieval period and that there was no evidence for activity on the site prior to the medieval period. However, the northern and southern parts of the site remain unevaluated due to asbestos contamination and the presence of backfilled septic tanks.
