Abstract:		 The site lies in the historic core of the village, on the periphery of the farmyard of Manor Farm. Both Manor Farmhouse, and a barn to the rear of the farmhouse, are surviving, Grade II Listed buildings. Trenches investigated the potential for and survival of buried archaeological remains, arranged to avoid existing buildings and target the proposed development footprint. A single ditch was revealed in the evaluation, corresponding with a boundary seen on historic mapping.
