Abstract:
Both these tombs in Anglesey are multi-period structures. Trefignath is a well preserved monument starting with an early passage grave - its second chamber rectangular with a small forecourt; and third also rectangular with tall portals. There is some evidence of contemporary settlement, later confirmed by extensive excavation at Parc Cybi. Din Dryfol, less well preserved, has a similar history, but the second chamber was built of wood.
