Cropston Properties commissioned Allen Archaeology Limited to undertake a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording as a condition of planning consent for the demolition of existing buildings and erection of six dwellings at Manor Works, Main Street, Fleckney, Leicestershire. The archaeological monitoring covered the demolition of existing buildings and foundations for six dwellings, and was undertaken on 21st May 2020 and 16th June 2020. The works exposed a sequence of limited interest, comprising natural geology overlain by modern made ground. |
