Abstract:		 An archaeological strip, map and sample excavation was undertaken on behalf of Mr Steven Wong on a plot previously evaluated as part of planning permission for a new dwelling. The investigation was able to confirm the results of the evaluation as it revealed the area had been subject to quarrying in the Roman period and was heavily disturbed by tree roots.
