Abstract:		 Pre-Construct Archaeology Limited were commissioned to undertake a specified programme of archaeological work in association with telecommunications upgrading work at five locations. Five areas were monitored across Westgate Road, Wingrove Avenue and Chelsea Grove that involved the excavation of trenches for the installation of plastic ducts for cables. Trenches were generally 0.60m wide and ranged in depth from 0.32m to 0.90m. No archaeological deposits or features of significance were encountered during the archaeological work.
