Abstract: |
In September 2010 Archaeology South-East carried out a historic building survey of four concrete structures at Rye Harbour. The two earlier structures date from c. 1850 and relate to shingle extraction and concrete production in the vicinity. The later structures date from 1940 and were constructed as part of the network of defences sited along the south-east coast |
