Abstract: |
Archaeological trial-trenching in advance of housing construction uncovered no remains of archaeological significance. The ground appears to have been truncated, removing any earlier soil horizons or archaeological deposits, down to the level of the natural deposit. The site was then levelled with modern brick rubble deposits. This presumably took place in relation to the 20th century development on the site. |
