Abstract:		 Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd undertook a geophysical (magnetometer) survey of a 3 hectare site north of Woollard Way, Essex, where a residential development is proposed. No anomalies of archaeological potential have been identified by the survey. Only anomalies indicative of the agricultural use of the fields, such as former field boundaries, field drains and an infilled pond have been recorded. On the basis of the geophysical survey the archaeological potential of the site is assessed as very low.
