Abstract:		 Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd undertook a geophysical (magnetometer) survey of a 2.8 hectare parcel of land at Doe Hill Farm, Little Kimble, to inform planning proposals for a new residential development. No anomalies of any archaeological potential have been identified. The survey has detected anomalies consistent with modern agricultural activity including a backfilled pond and a vague band of ferrous anomalies demarcating a former field boundary and adjacent farm track. On the basis of the geophysical survey, the site is assessed as having very low archaeological potential, corroborating the results of the Archaeological and Heritage Assessment.
