Abstract: |
Evaluation by trial trenching was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in three areas, covering 9.25 ha, in advance of a proposed development. The evaluation uncovered floor remains associated with a farmhouse of 19th/20th century date and evidence for substantial truncation and disturbance of the site during modern (20th century) topsoil-stripping works. No archaeologically significant finds were recovered. |
