The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey, covering approximately 1.3 hectares was undertaken on pastoral land at Manor Farm, Old Malton. This was part of a programme of archaeological works in advance of a proposed development. Possible archaeological anomalies have been identified in the form of ditches forming part of an enclosure. Agricultural trends which may be associated with ridge and furrow cultivation have also been detected. A service pipe along with areas of magnetic disturbance can also be seen within the data. Therefore the archaeological potential of the survey area is deemed to be medium.
