Abstract:		 Between February and April 2009 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd (ASC) carried out a watching brief during the groundworks for a new sports centre and netball courts at Presdales School, Ware, Hertfordshire. No significant archaeological remains were discovered during the groundworks for the sports centre. Only a wall, soakaway and an area of dumping were revealed, and all are thought to be modern in date. No deposits or finds were revealed during the works for the netball courts.
