The archaeological watching brief comprised the monitoring and recording of foundations for a residential extension measuring 30m east-west by 10m north-south. The foundation trenches were excavated using a tracked 360˚ 1-tonne mini mechanical excavator utilising a toothless ditching bucket under close archaeological supervision No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified during the watching brief. |
