Abstract: |
An evaluation consisting of eleven trial trenches revealed a circular ditch thought possibly to be part of a Bronze Age barrow. However, the ditch was undated. Early Roman field boundaries and the southern boundary ditch of a Late Saxon settlement, excavated immediately to the north, were also revealed. A probable late medieval field boundary was also recorded. |
