Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Archaeological monitoring - strip, map and sample recording. Report on monitoring of single house plot and associated driveway area. Required as site adjacent to early and middle Saxon settlement site. Early to middle Saxon pottery was found redeposited in later Saxon to early medieval features. Isolated finds of late Roman and Iron Age pottery were also recorded. Two 10th to 12th century pits, a 13th century ditch and a 16th to 18th century ditch and two undated post holes or small pits were excavated.
