Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A watching brief was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology (now operating as MOLA), on behalf of Galliford Try, between February and November 2013 during groundworks for the construction of a new two storey teaching block and temporary haul road on land at Standens Barn Primary School, Flaxwell Court, Northampton. A truncated natural substratum was recorded throughout the investigation area. No archaeological features or artefacts were present.
