Abstract: |
The site lies to the south of the historic village of Bilsthorpe, in the north of the Bilsthorpe Moor area. Formerly, a poultry packing factory sat upon the site until it was demolished in c.2016. Unsuitable for geophysical survey, sample trenches investigated archaeological potential. All trenches were negative, with impacts of the factory construction / demolition removing the subsoil-natural geology interface across much of the Site. |
