Abstract:		 Montoring of trenches found only a demolition layer realting to post-medieval buildings that once stood on the site, no other finds were made. THE EVIDENCE FOR PREVIOUS POST-MEDIEVAL BUILDINGS HAVING ONCE EXISTED ON THIS SITE, DEMOSTRATES THAT THE EXTENT OF MEDIEVAL COGGESHALL WAS AT LEAST THIS FAR WEST ON THE ROMAN ROAD THROUGH THE TOWN.
