Abstract:		 Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd was commissioned by Cattle Holderness Ltd to undertake an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching, as a condition of a planning application (Ref DC/20/01312/STPLFE) for the construction of livestock buildings on land south east of Rysome Garth, Holmpton, East Riding of Yorkshire. No features of any archaeological interest were present in any of the trenches excavated. On this basis the proposed development site is assessed as of low archaeological potential and no further work is anticipated No features of any archaeological interest were present in any of the trenches excavated.
