Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd was commissioned by Knights Garth Organic Eggs to undertake an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching, as a condition of a planning permission (ref 20/02046/PLF)for the creation of a poultry unit and associated infrastructure, on land south-west of Wolds Edge, East Riding of Yorkshire. The site lies within a rich archaeological landscape containing archaeological activity from the Mesolithic period onwards.
