Abstract: |
Evaluation trenching Fressingfield, land at Red House Farm, Priory Road (FSF 076, TM 2545 7715) evaluation trenching for a planned residential development revealed evidence for three field boundary type ditches which had been identified during a previous geophysical survey. Finds indicated that these features were of Post medieval date at least when they were filled-in prior to c1880, no other features were revealed and the stray ceramic and metal from the site were all of Post medieval date. The lack of medieval or earlier stray finds suggests pastoral use in the past. This was not collected in OASIS IV when this record was originally created |
