Abstract:
A desk-based assessment of land at 55 Hough Lane, Tyldesley, Greater Manchester was undertaken to assess the baseline conditions and likely potential for historic remains within the proposed development, as well as the potential impact of development on the historic environment. The site includes a 19th century barn and the remains of a former mill and was assessed as providing a minor contribution to the heritage significance of the Grade II Listed Garrett Hall.
