Abstract:
John Moore Heritage Services carried out an archaeological watching brief on/at St Mary the Virgin Church, Church Lane, Ashbury, Oxfordshire (NGR SU 26535 84915). Excavation of a service trench took place in the north of the church yard, and due to the shallow nature of the excavation no archaeological features were observed. A small quantity of disarticulated human bone was recovered.
