Archaeological building recording was carried out in August 2006 at Lumb Holes Mill, a former woollen mill at Waterfoot, Rossendale, Lancashire (NGR: SD 83522132), for the developers Colway Contracts Ltd. Work was confined to the end of a two storey building, representing a small part of the former mill complex, dating to between 1847 and 1891 but of uncertain function and which is to be converted to residential use. The records made include floor plans, a section and photographs, as well as a written account.

Archaeological building recording was carried out in January 2006 at a barn at Lower Croft House near Roughlee (NGR: SD 83233983), for Mr and Mrs James, before the conversion of the building to residential use. The barn is a very small stone-built two bay structure, probably of the eighteenth century, and extended on two sides by a brick-built shippon in the early twentieth century. The records made include floor plans, a section and photographs, as well as a written account.

Archaeological building recording was carried out for Alison Pickles in September 2006 at a barn at Stang Top, Roughlee, Lancashire (NGR: SD 835413), before the conversion of part of it to residential use. The barn stands next to a cottage, is stone-built and five bays long and probably dates to the early nineteenth century. The records made include floor plans, a section and photographs, as well as a written account.

Archaeological building recording was carried out for Mr John Hartley in September 2006 at a barn known as High Laithe, near Tosside, Lancashire (NGR: SD 75865519), before its conversion to holiday cottages. The barn is a large stone-built structure of six bays with a good oak-framed shippon at one end, and probably dates to the early or mid eighteenth century, but carries a secondary date-stone of 1795. The records made include floor plans, a section and photographs, as well as a written account.

Archaeological building recording was carried out in February 2006 at Souteril Laithe, a barn near Trawden in Lancashire (NGR: SD 91573990), for Holly Holmes, before the conversion of the building to residential use. The original part of Souteril Laithe appears to date from the eighteenth or early nineteenth century, and comprises a three-bay, stone-built combination barn, extended by the addition of a shippon in 1926. The records made include a floor plan, sections and photographs, as well as a written account.

Archaeological building recording was carried out for Mr Howard Bradley in September 2006 at a barn at Higher Green Hill Farm, Salterforth, Lancashire (NGR: SD 886450), before its conversion to holiday cottages. The barn is stone-built and five bays long, of uncertain date but largely rebuilt in the nineteenth century and altered in the twentieth; it adjoins a two storey building containing a former farm office, as well as other buildings at the rear. The records made include floor plans, a section and photographs, as well as a written account.

Archaeological building recording was carried out at Barcroft Hall, Cliviger, near Burnley, Lancashire (NGR: SD 865304), in 2005 and 2006, for Tetlow Developments Ltd during their redevelopment of the house. The hall, listed grade 2*, contains a wing dated to circa 1540 and a hall and south wing of circa 1610, both previously investigated by the RCHME. This work augments the existing survey and provides floor plans, section drawings and photographs, as well as a written account.

Archaeological building recording was carried out for Mr Peter Farrow in January 2007 at a small disused warehouse on Burnley Road East, near Rawtenstall, Lancashire (NGR: SD 83532282), before its conversion to residential use. The building was formerly associated with the nearby Dale Mill and is of three storeys, stone-built, and a single bay in width. The records made include floor plans, a section drawing and photographs, as well as a written account.

King Henry''s Parlour is a barn converted from part of a high status house, probably of 15th century date and closely associated with the former Bracewell Hall, north of Barnoldswick (NGR: SD 86254840). Numerous early features survive within the building including stone doorway and window surrounds and early king-post roof trusses, but the layout of the original building remains uncertain. The recording was carried out for the owner Mr T Smeeth in October 2007, to inform an anticipated planning application for its conversion to a dwelling.

Archaeological building recording was carried out for Mr and Mrs Stazicker in June 2007 at a barn at Springside, near Bolton-by-Bowland, Lancashire (NGR: SD 769532), before its conversion to residential and workshop use. The building is stone-built and probably of eighteenth or early nineteenth century date, and comprises a four bay barn with shippon at one end, with a second shippon at the opposite end having been removed. It has also been extended in two phases, to front and rear. The records made include a ground floor plan, a section drawing and photographs, as well as a written account.
