Auger survey at 9-17 Bridge Street, Horncastle

<summary>An auger survey in the yard of buildings situated to the north of the Roman Wall at Horncastle revealed [?upper] a layer of "made ground" containing tile and flooring materials, coal, brick and post-medieval pottery sherds, probably representing the remains of a mud and stud cottage, overlying rubble scatters probably derived from the Roman wall.
