Funding Opportunity: ECHOES Cascading Grants Program Launches First Call

We would like to highlight that the first call of the ECHOES Cascading Grants Programme is now open, offering significant funding opportunities for cultural heritage institutions looking to contribute valuable datasets to the Cultural Heritage Cloud.

About the Funding Opportunity

This program aims to support cultural heritage institutions in developing and sharing quality datasets that will enhance the functionality and value of the Cultural Heritage Cloud.

The first call for fundingData – encourages stakeholders in the Cultural Heritage Community to contribute datasets for use in the Cultural Heritage Cloud

Two further specific calls will be announced later this year and next year. They will include

  • Call 2: Engagement and Collaboration – Initiatives that promote digital skills, awareness, and collaboration with CHIs.
  • Call 3: Data and Vertical Applications – Projects that contribute new datasets to the Cultural Heritage Cloud or develop applications that enhance its functionalities.
