Help Shape the Future Cultural Heritage Cloud: ECHOES Consultation Now Open

The ECHOES project has launched a consultation aimed at better understanding the diverse cultural heritage communities within Europe and understanding their needs for the upcoming Cultural Heritage Cloud

The Cultural Heritage Cloud aims to build a shared online platform that connects museums, libraries, archives, and other cultural institutions across Europe and provide digital tools for these organizations to work together online.

Online Questionnaire Available Now

As the first step in this consultation process, ECHOES has released an online questionnaire designed to identify heritage professionals and researchers and explore how they use digital tools in their daily work. The valuable insights gathered will directly inform the development of:

  • Infrastructure requirements
  • Tools and services
  • Training programs
  • Community-building efforts

The consultation welcomes input from all cultural heritage stakeholders, including heritage professionals, researchers, computer scientists, developers, cultural institutions, and umbrella organizations.

How to Get Involved

The questionnaire will remain open until April 2025, giving time for input from across the community. We encourage all relevant stakeholders to participate by:

  1. Completing the questionnaire yourself. You can complete the survey here.
  2. Sharing it within your professional networks
  3. 3 Helping spread the word about this important initiative

By contributing to this consultation, you’ll play a direct role in shaping a Cultural Heritage Cloud that addresses the needs of the communities it aims to serve.
