Centrefolds

This issue's centrefolds again focus on the work of Jonathan Bateman on the Gardom's Edge Project, using photography to capture some of the material culture of excavation. The images reflect the physicality of the work and the familiar tools, equipment, and structures through which we experience and understand the site and the process of excavation.
