Abstract:
Eighteen targeted / evaluation trenches. Seventeen 2m by 30m, one 2m by 35m, within land of proposed mineral extraction extension area. Cropmarks suggest area has possible Bronze Age field system / settlement. Found evidence for intensive plough activity, as well as field systems which correlate to known cropmarks, and may date to Bronze Age.
