Description: Saddle quern/grinding stone. Boulder. Crudely shaped under surface and sides. Perfectly flat grinding surface. However, when resting on its base, the grinding surface is actually at an angle of 45 degrees. Smooth but with traces of pecking visible. Grinding surface covers whole face and is 270 x 190mm. Measures 280 x 190mm. Pegmatitic tourmaline granite with very frequent tourmaline phenocrysts and veins.
