Introduction
This collection comprises raw and processed data from a geophysical survey carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd at Church Lane, Sway, Hampshire in 2022. Detailed magnetometry was carried out over 2ha using a hand pushed cart based system of 5 sensors spaced 0.5m apart. The results indicate the presence of naturally formed features within the underlying River Terrace Deposits along with evidence for land drainage. A small number of positive linear anomalies have also been located, but it is not clear if they relate to former cut features or if they have an association with land drainage.
