This digital archive contains images from an archaeological trench evaluation undertaken by Network Archaeology Ltd at Henwood Farm, Silverstone Lane, Biddlesden, Buckinghamshire. The work was undertaken in advance of industrial redevelopment of an area of land which is currently utilised as a car-park for the Force India racing team at Henwood Farm.

The evaluation was undertaken to assess the nature and extent of any archaeological remains that may be affected by the proposed regeneration of the park and has generated a reliable predictive model of the expected level of archaeological remains.

The evaluation comprised thirteen archaeological trial trenches excavated in two phases and were laid out to target key areas associated with the proposed redevelopment.

The evaluation identified brick and concrete footings probably associated with mid 20th century industrial buildings as well as layers of more recent made ground. The only possible pre-20th century feature was a natural hollow identified in trench 13. However, no finds were recovered and it also appears to have been filled-in during the 20th century.

The significance of potential impacts upon the archaeology is considered low.
