This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at the proposed Porr Slab Track Factory site, Trinidad Works, Wanstrow, Shepton Mallet, Somerset carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in July and August 2022.

A total of 29 trenches were excavated. The evaluation recorded two pits, one of which contained a human cremation burial; this cremation was undated, but is likely to be prehistoric in origin. The other pit contained charcoal and burnt animal bone, probably representing domestic hearth waste; three prehistoric worked flints were recovered from this pit, although the unburnt nature of these flints might indicate that they were redeposited in a later feature. The evaluation also recorded a series of medieval/early post-medieval furrows.
