| Description | This digital archive comprises images and a report from archaeological trial trenching at South Farm, Kirkham as a part of planning permission consent. The work was undertaken in June 2022, by The Archaeology Co. 4 trenches were excavated across the site. The trenches revealed Roman occupation layers to the southern side of the site. The northern side had less archaeology, although showed some features of Roman date cut into the natural clay. |
