| Description | This collection consists of images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation by Cotswold Archaeology. Work occurred on land at Abbots Lodge, The Street, Drinkstone, Suffolk, in May 2023. Medieval activity was represented by two ditches identified in Trench 1. The finds assemblage comprised eighteen pottery sherds of 12th to the 14th century date. The remaining features were undated. An iron pitchfork recovered from the subsoil was interpreted as modern, probably 20th century date. |
