| Description | A magnetometer survey of 4.2 hectares of land at Wiveliscombe Roman Fort has recorded numerous magnetic responses that have been interpreted as being of archaeological interest. Four ditch-like responses have been marked which likely relate to the outer ditches of the fort. A rectangular enclosure and several other magnetic responses have been plotted within the fort. Uncertain pit-like anomalies are visible in the north of the survey. The routes of two former field boundaries have also been plotted in the survey. |
