This collection consists of images from level 2 historic building recording works at the Old Church Hall, Haltwhistle, Northumberland. Works were carried out by Adapt Heritage between July and November 2024 in advance of the change of use and refurbishment of the hall.

The Old Church Hall was constructed in 1908-1909, with the commemorative foundation stone being laid in 1908, and there appears to be no later additions or extensions to the original building. There has, however, been some alteration to the existing fabric. The building officially opened in June 1909 and cost approximately £3,000 to construct. The original function of the Old Church Hall was a building that provided a community and charitable use for the people of Haltwhistle, in connection with the nearby Church of the Holy Cross. This included as a dance hall, assembly hall, meeting place and later uses. It is now vacant.
