| Description | This collection comprises the digital archive for the England's Rock Art (ERA) project. ERA was originally a web application hosted by the Archaeology Data Service (ADS) between 2008 and 2021. The application was created as part of the Northumberland and Durham Rock Art Pilot (NADRAP) Project which was managed by Northumberland and Durham County Councils and funded by English Heritage, now Historic England. The website and database also incorporated the Newcastle University Beckensall Archive of Northumberland Rock Art. In 2025 ERA was relaunched as an ADS collection, with a new interfacec replicating the core functionality of the previous web application. |
