Description WSP UK Ltd (WSP) was instructed by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) to undertake a Phase II Geo-Environmental Ground Investigation to support the proposed temporary redevelopment of land off Heaton Lane, Stockport, SK4 1AQ. The Heaton Lane site is proposed to be used as a temporary bus station during the construction of the new bus interchange as part of the wider Stockport Interchange Development. The aim of the investigation was to assess soil and groundwater conditions on site to identify any potential environmental and geotechnical constraints that may impact on the proposed development.
