| Description | WSP has been commissioned by Transport for Greater Manchester and Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council to produce a Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) for a Stage 2 archaeological excavation, in advance of the re-development of Heaton Lane Car Park, Stockport as a temporary bus station/depot. The groundworks for the temporary re-development of Heaton Lane Car Park will comprise the construction of bus bays on the eastern half of the proposed development, including deep drainage and excavations for a fuel interceptor tank to a depth of approximately 4m. |
