| Description | WallCAP staff and volunteers undertook 2 weeks of excavations on the line of Hadrian's Wall on the east bank of the Cam Beck in May 2021. The team uncovered the remains of the line of the Wall, the base of a tower structure and ramp linked to the Roman crossing of the Beck, and the remains of two other structures. This report summarises the excavations, as well as associated geophysical survey of the excavation area and a survey of the Cam Beck gorge. |
