As part of the NEARCH project a call for proposals was published in spring 2014 by the Paris CENTQUATRE– and Jan van Eyck Academie for 10 artist residencies.
Nearly 500 applications were received in total and carefully considered by the selection committee composed of the different partners involved in the implementation of these future residencies.
The following artists were selected to perform a residency at Paris CENTQUATRE:
- Ali CHERRI
- Nathalie JOFFRE
- Alice MULLIEZ
- Julie RAMAGE
- Miranda CRESWELL
The following artists and art collectives have been selected for the residency at the Jan van Eyck Academie:
- Leyla Cardenas
- Joey Bryniarska and Martin Westwood,
- Klaas van Gorkum and Iratxe Jaio,
- Matthew Wilson
- Rossella Biscotti
ADS will have the pleasure of working with Leyla Cardenas during her residency.
In 2017 an exhibition and symposium are planned to unveil the outcome of this process to an international audience.
