Abstract: |
the results of a survey carried out on civilian settlement in the lowland area of southeast Wales are given, and suggestions for facilitating site detection are advanced. These were tested in the course of the survey. A summary is given of the main research themes which, the author argues, need to be addressed and for which data could be collected during the course of suitably designed survey and excavation projects, whether designed for research or as part of development proposals |
