Abstract: Presents a catalogue of post-Conquest medieval pottery from nine excavations within the medieval walled town. The results of quantification and analysis are also shown, leading to an examination of the assemblage with regard to the themes of chronology, technology, distribution and use. The context of recovery is also elucidated with subsequent interpretations of social, economic and cultural aspects of medieval Southampton. Includes:
