A photograph, over a century old, has come to light which is clearly of a collage of individual photographs of the hoard objects. Some 30 objects are not elsewhere recorded, while other known constituents are not on the photograph. Some recent metal-detector finds from near the cave are also illustrated.

Gazetteer and discussion. Survey over 15 years revealed many new sites, including D-shaped enclosures. Most of the sites are prehistoric/RB: Thorpe Thewles has been excavated. Discussion of cropmark/soil type relationships.

An early 2-cell church, in being before 1160/70, possibly had an earlier predecessor. Further developments in 13th-14th centuries.

Drawn survey: hall and crossing, later 16th century wall paintings. No evidence of the chapel traditionally claimed.
