Abstract: Border Archaeology was instructed in June 2011 by Kinsey Hern, Esq to undertake a programme of archaeological work comprising archaeological building recording and archaeological observation during site works as stated in the summary brief issued by Mr Julian Cotton Esq., Archaeological Advisor, Herefordshire Council (Ref: DCNW2006/0975/F) in respect of proposed alterations to develop premises at Upper House, Lyonshall, Herefordshire.
